CTAA Artist of the Month

For the 3rd Quarter of 2010

July 2010 "Artist of the Month"

   Roger Schlichenmaier

Roger specializes in creating one-of-a-kind art work exclusively
from mesquite wood.  He has been working in this challenging
medium for only four years, but his unique art work may be found
in some of the finest homes and offices throughout the area.

Roger is Event Co-Chairman for CTAA and has been a member
since 2009. He can be reached via email at rslick@hughes.net.

More of his work can be found on his Members Art page.

(no "Artist of the Month" was chosen for August, as in lieu of a
regular meeting, the group attended the opening of Larry Lemon's
one-man show at the Kemp Center for the Arts.)

September 2010  "Artist of the Month"
   Pat Peery

Pat Peery specializes in creating unique portraits of children and
animals.  Her works in pencil and charcoal show amazing detail,
capturing the personality of the subject.  Pat also works in oils,
and her portraits of dogs, cats, horses, calves and other creatures
beautifully capture the animal's nature and soul.

Pat is CTAA Historian, and has been a member since 2008.  She
can be reached via email at ppeery@sbcglobal.net.

More of her work can be found on her Members Art page.
