This month's presentation was made by Glenn Phipps, a noted metal sculptor and large-format acrylic artist from Palo Pinto County. By means of an extensive slide show, Glenn presented examples of his art, which hangs in a large number of public venues as well as is housed in private collections throughout Texas. He achieves beautiful paintings and sculptures without using traditional art materials - preferring to make his own tools, using non-traditional styles. Glenn's paintings are stylistic, evoking a feeling or impression of a scene, rather than a strict representational image.
