Barbara Yerby has always enjoyed taking photographs. Inspired by her mother's encouragement, she understands the importance of memories, beauty, and the interesting world around her. Photos trigger memories and "all the rest is just stuff."
Barbara is an amateur photographer and enjoys taking photos wherever she might be. She creates the yearbook for Bowie Junior High and is constantly editing photographs. She has a passion for preserving old photos and in "photoshopping" almost anything she can get her hands on. Barbara displays her photos in various local shows and events, and looks forward to selling some. She has been a member of the CTAA since 2008, and often acts as the group's photographer.
