Growing up in the mid-west, Stan Briney displayed a talent for drawing at a very early age.  His drawings were prized by his fellow students as well as adults.  During high school, commercial art advertising jobs provided his spending money.  His hobby was drawing cartoons, which adorned the college dormitory walls of his friends.

Medical school followed his receiving Bachelors and Masters degrees.  Following a very successful career in his medical specialty of Radiology, he retired and devoted his time to cattle ranching and art work.  Today his time and energy are spent on his art work due to public demand.

Stan's attention to detail and realism is a result of his life-long interest in nature.  His bronze sculptures, pencil and pen & ink drawings are found in schools, churches, homes, offices and private collections throughout the United States, as well as in Europe and South America.
