The CTAA meets the second Thursday of each month at various locations announced in advance on this website and via a monthly email newsletter to our members.
A sketching session is held preceding each meeting at 5:30pm (unless indicated otherwise below) for all wishing to participate.
Each meeting typically begins at 7:00pm and is highlighted by a presentation or demonstration from a local area artist who specializes in a particular medium, subject, or style. Field trips in lieu of regular meetings are also a possibility, as was our special evening at The Kemp Center in Wichita Falls, Texas.

June 11th -Janet Everitt-Forte presents Pastel Painting in a Minimal Style (MacLaughlin Ranch located 2 miles north of Montague on Hwy 175)
July 9th - Private Tour & Luncheon at The Kemp Center in Wichita Falls - no sketch session
August 13th - Paula Henson presents Painting With Watercolor (in the science room at the Montague Public School Building)
September 10th - Debbie Malone presents Stained Glass Art (at the Montague school)
October 8th - Richard Davis presents the Psychology of Art (at the Montague school)
November 12th - Jimmy Tompkins presents Perspective Drawing (at the Old Depot, Nocona)
