Deloris spent her childhood in the country, but readily adapted to "city life" as she developed a career and raised a family. She found her path in a wide variety of industries - from retail fashion to self-employment in the wholesale seafood brokerage business - before again returning to the country life.
Deloris remembers drawing as a child, but only began painting ten years ago. Largely self-taught, Deloris now focuses on painting scenes from nature - including birds, flowers and wildlife. She also enjoys painting scenes on wood, and creating unique and colorful birdhouses.
